Dereck Ng and Hong Yeow founded Mine Logistics Sdn Bhd, at the tail end of the 2008/09 global financial crisis. They took the opportunity despite the risky economic environment, and started their logistics business with only 3 employees.

The SME 100 Awards ® has served as the pinnacle of trust and benchmark of reliability among business owners. Being a young SME, the award has given encouragement for MINELOG to move forward to a greater height.

Minelog was also awarded the 13th Asia Pacific TOP Excellence Award and Golden Eagle Award.

With continued growth and innovation, Minelog has expanded into haulage operation with 5 prime movers, attained ISO certification, and start-up B2B e-marketplace business division.

We began to contribute to society through CSR and excelling for better services.
We were recognized for our commitment to excellence by receiving the SME Brand Laureate Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Top Nominee Finalist) awards, and obtained a forwarding license.

Celebrating Minelog’s 10th Anniversary, we grew stronger with 104 employees, expanded a new 11,000 sq.ft office, our warehouse capacity had increased up to 180,000 sq.ft and we now have fleets of 25 prime movers, 102 trailers and 5 side loaders.

Dereck Ng, Founder & Group CEO, realized there was an opportunity to bring a better, scalable solution to the thousands of companies dealing with dated and often under-supported payment operations processes.

Launched with strong support from the Central Bank of Malaysia, through multiple workshops involving the entire local banking industry.

Approved as the first and only licensed Multi-Bank Supply Chain Finance platform in Malaysia by Securities Commission Malaysia.
